This solid 20oz copper roof cap was custom made 24" wide plus the spiked raised corners for Tom Bromann in Claredon Hills, Illinois.  It also included this small finial called the Avalon for a total of $500 postage and handling paid.

This cap is 30" wide in all with a 10/12 pitch for their 8/12 pitch roof.  It has the raised corners for style with a steeple that helps support the center finial support pipe built into the cap design, that is independent of the roof.  We had not yet drill the holes for the screws in this picture.  It still has the clear plastic film over the outside of this copper roof cap to protect it from finger prints that would make an uneven tarnished look.

In the photos below sent to us by the client you can see how it looks after only 1 year later. It also shows the client seems to have decided this roof cap would look best with the raised corners and spikes in between the hips. That way you would not have the copper indent when he tightened the screws to the roofing. We appreciate the few clients who take the time to send us these after photos to share with you here.
