This custom copper fire pit cover I made out of a thicker 32oz copper to cover their outdoor gas fire pit in order to keep it clean and dry when not in use. Brigitta and Dennis Cunningham contacted me on 6/19/08 and it was shipped off to them by 7/28/08. Here is some of the before and after shots I got from them.
Here's a few shots I sent them during the fabrication process:
I add the bottom skirting to raise it up higher for more clearance that you may need, along with the 1/2" copper piping along the bottom for more strength. Then I attached the handles with brackets and stainless steel bolts.
