We made this roof cap just like the Giberson turret cap, but only half the size.  It shipped out to Bill and Nancy Rank in Purchase New York.

For this complex of a turret roof cap, that takes us nearly a week of full time work to make, we needed to charge $900 to build it.

It was designed to be 24" wide, but the flame style tails made it over 30" wide. It was made with a 14/12 pitch at the bottom section that gradually curves up to a steeple.

It has raise and spiked corners with a built in weathervane support pipe built inside to be independent of the wood roof.

I was careful to seal all the seams from underneath with a high quality caulk and covered these caulked seams with a fabric gaffer's tape. On the outside it has copper covers over each seam as well that are riveted on to help hold the seams together.
