These are a one piece design, 4 sided post cap for some fence columns we were contracted to make. They are made 18" wide, with a 6/12 pitch to fit on a 16" wide square wood column. I explained to them that in order to avoid potential damage to these copper caps (since they are to be placed so low to the ground where they could suffer vandalism or impacts), that when they first get them they should turn them up-side down on a cushion and filled with a concrete mix, and set to cure before installation. We could do that here, but the shipping costs would be a lot more and they would have to pay a coppersmith to do this simple task.
