This custom copper fire pit cover was made with a thicker 32oz copper to cover this outdoor gas fire pit in order to keep it clean and dry when not in use.  Jason Salisbury of Salisbury Landscaping Group contacted me on 9/14/10 and it was shipped off to them by 12/2/10. Here is some of the before and after shots I sent them during the fabrication process and a couple I got from them after receiving it.

This shows the extension rim being formed to bring this dome out to the 48" they need. I was able to form this in 2 pieces. Then I attached the stabilizing sleeve that will extend down into the inside of their fire pit so this will not blow off in a wind storm without needing to strap it down.
