Even though most of
the work I do is very unique and custom work, here are a few projects I've done that
show the diversity of what I do to solve your needs and desires. I
have been posting my more recent project photos on my Facebook Business
profile over the last decade. Below
are links to larger photos and whole photo albums with step-by-step images
with detail about those
projects I've
done. Even if your
needs are different than what is shown on these pages this shows how
I'm good at helping to brainstorm solutions, design, and fabricate nearly
anything you may need.
Most of my client are not local to us in Oregon, so we do ship orders all across the Nation as well. Don't be shy to write me an e-mail to ask if we can help with your unique needs. |

Range Hood
This was a custom wood concave stove vent range hood I
covered in copper for a client in Vancouver, Washington who wanted this rustic industrial
look. The first image on the left is before the decorative straps
were attached. It
was made with few seams. You can see more photos and detailed
description of this on this separate web page: |

Rustic Mantle, Chimney Cap, & Watering Troth Here's a trough they also had me make to resemble a photo of an old rusty steel one |
|
Lighted Cupola w/Weathervane Mount He wanted a weathervane mount built into the
roof of this as well. I made a taller base to sit on the roof
ridge. I had to be creative to work out a nice soft glow inside, and rig
up the security flood light in the base. You can see more photos
at: I experimented with several different systems to see what would work best. I ended up using a set of 2 bulbs that reflected off a shield above and a larger reflector below in the base. I also made a third white reflector up in the center of the cupola. This project took me longer to build than their larger chimney cap. |

Fancy Chimney Pots Here is what we had designed, fabricated, and installed on a house near Downtown Portland, Oregon. We had their name and address listed here for over 3 years, but they requested their personal information be removed from our web site (10/07). Contact me for the address if you want to see them in person. You can go to our fabrication web page to tour the 54 photos of the design and fabrication process for this set of chimney smoke stacks, or chimney pots as many call them. The two side stacks are 3' 6.5" tall. The center stack is 4' 6.5" tall. They are mounted on a 3 flue chimney over each flue liner side by side just as they are shown here, with only 2" between each flue liner. The center chimney stack in the picture was very tricky to design and fabricate and get all the angles just right for a 24/12 pitch. The side caps are at a 12/12 pitch. They turned out well and the client was quite pleased with the results. |
